Director of Music: Dr. Sarah Bereza

Our music director, Dr. Sarah Bereza, is a lifelong church musician. She holds a bachelor’s degree in organ performance, multiple master’s degrees, and a PhD from Duke University, where her research focused on music and theology. An avid promoter of new music, Sarah chairs the New Music Committee for the 2026 National American Guild of Organists Convention and is on the executive committee of the St. Louis AGO chapter. Much of Sarah’s work has been dedicated to helping people in church ministry, including through podcasts and public speaking, her blog at sarah-bereza.com, and her recent book Professional Christian: Being Fully Yourself in the Spotlight of Public Ministry (Westminster John Knox Press: 2022).
